Instant Treeline

Instant Treeline is a Brooklyn-based Americana group founded by musician Will Leet and lyricist Christopher Burns. The pair has spent the last five years crafting campfire pop songs inspired by their shared passion for the woods and travels across the country. They define music as a spiritual necessity, though they understand it in different ways. Burns can’t recognize a single scale, while Leet plays more than five instruments on their debut. Their process of creation is, therefore, entirely reactive and collaborative — founded on a shared respect of each other’s abilities.

At the beginning of 2016, Will and Chris went on a songwriting spree, writing 4 of the 5 tracks on their new EP. They quickly added members Andrew Whitbeck (bass, lead guitar) Dane Scozzari (drums) and Tyler Campbell (vocals, guitars keys), and Malia Abayon (vocals) to form a live band to perform around New York City and play on the EP. They spent the year performing frequently at the Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, and the Way Station in Brooklyn, and worked all summer long on “Morning Songs” which is available everywhere now!

Joon

Ripping out of Connecticut, rock/funk band Joon has made a name for themselves, touring throughout the northeast at notable venues like Pearl Street Ballroom, Iron Horse, Fete Music Hall, Rockwood Music Hall, and many others. Joon has built a reputation of being a vocal powerhouse as well as delivering high energy funk in every performance. Each set is personal and full of emotion, as the band strives to connect with the audience to truly feel the music.

Sharing the stage with acts such as Badfish, Marshall Tucker Band, Jimkata, Tom Hamilton’s American Babies, Aqueous, and countless others, Joon possesses no signs of slowing down. As they maintain a busy performance schedule, they also have plans to release a new album this coming year. One thing is for sure, with the passion of blending songwriting and powerful rock grooves, Joon looks forward to evolving their sound and will continue to bring the house down.

Joon’s self – titled, debut EP was released on Jan 12, 2016.
